Emergency Response & Disaster Recovery
Disaster Debris Collection, Reduction & Disposal
Collection, hauling, reduction and disposal of storm and disaster debris from public rights-of-way, facilities and waterways.
Debris removal moves in phases. First, crews reopen roads and access for emergency services and utilities. Next, debris is collected by waste stream, reduced at managed sites and hauled to final disposal or recycling, with every load documented.
Capabilities
- First-push emergency road clearance to reopen critical routes
- Vegetative, construction and demolition (C&D), white goods and e-waste collection
- Household hazardous waste (HHW) segregation and handling
- Hazardous tree, limb and stump removal (leaners, hangers and stumps)
- Reduction by grinding and air-curtain incineration where permitted
- Final disposal through permitted facilities
